James Harris’ painting history started 1989 when he partnered a custom bodywork shop in the UK called 'Purely Paintwork'. It primarily dealt with cars,motor bikes,trikes and chopper trikes and allowed him to gain substantial experience with all manner of automotive spray techniques, paints and effects (Pearls and Candies etc).

In 1992 he sold up in the U.K. and  moved to France and following a year of continuous day working painting on some of the most prestigious yachts on the Côte d'Azur he accepted full time  painter/deckhand positions on several yachts including M.Y. Capella C and M.Y. Leander to gain more experience in brush and roller application method. After a few seasons traveling around the Mediterranean and Caribbean  he decided to stay in the local area and form a team offering comprehensive painting and varnishing service to the yachts.

Riviera Reflections was established in 1999 as a French SARL company by James Harris with a small group of experienced painters and varnishers who had worked on numerous yachts along the French Riviera. Since then we have been constantly growing, trying to keep up with the diverse demands made by our customers.

Our latest progression is our workshop facility situated 5 minutes from the Antibes motorway exit, including 28m² spray booth. This  allows us to take on varied projects in house within a controlled environment, including furniture, doors, tenders, jet skis and capping rails to our most recent projects of full custom paintwork on anything from cars, bikes and jet skis to crash helmets and air brush design work.
